Expectations for Participating Teachers

  1. Commit to the basic program for one school year
  2. Secure all necessary permissions from your school and the parents
  3. Expedite the scheduling of Alison's classroom visits
  4. Write a class introductory letter to your partner class in Mexico
  5. Support your student bird study teams in the writing and mailing of three pen pal letters during the school year
  6. Create some kind of bird project to share with the rest of the school, the parents, and/or the public
  7. Respond promptly to Alison’s emails and keep up with the general timeline for the year
