Expectations for Participating Teachers
- Commit to the basic program for one school year
- Expedite the scheduling of one or more classroom visits from Alison and a birdwatching walk for the class
- Write a class introductory letter to your partner class in Mexico
- Support your student bird study teams in the writing and mailing of at least three pen pal letters during the school year
- Support your student bird study teams in the study of their Amigos Alados birds and the creation of final projects to share with parents or the public
- Keep up with the general timeline for the year
- Secure all necessary permissions from your school and the parents
